Farm Life Blessing #12

This weekend we had a great trip visiting my family in southern York County and were able to enjoy the beautiful weather by going hiking in the woods on the “back hill.” As we were heading through the fields towards the woods, it brought back many memories of our wedding day, nearly three and a half years ago.

On a sunny, warm day in June 2009, Doug and I were married on my family’s farm overlooking the Susquehanna River, surrounded by many friends and family. I was truly blessed to have the opportunity to get married on the farm. Of course, it didn’t happen without a lot of hard work from many family members. A lot of planning and preparation (including renovating a 200+ year old barn), went into making our wedding day perfect. We are very grateful for everyone’s help and support not only on that day, but throughout our lives.

For those of you that didn’t join us on that beautiful day, enjoy these few photos.
